San Juan Inn near Monument Valley, Utah
Has anyone stayed at the San Juan Inn in Mexican Hat, Utah? There don't seem to be too many choices of nice places to stay near Monument Valley (yeah, Gouldings is already booked for that day in June)
Another option I found is to stay overnight in a Hogan with Simpsons Trailhandler Tours. Sounds very different and the kids would love it. Is it worth $150 per person??? Has anyone done this? Will we wake up with scorpions on our heads? (hee hee)

Karen,
You might want to check out Valley of the Gods B&B - it is a spectacular location and close enough to MV. We took a sunset ride from the B&B to MV and back one evening. I highly recommend this place. Very unique.

Called Vally of the Gods, B&B already. They are booked too (and it is on a Monday!) Also, they only have rooms with 1 queen bed so we'd have to get 2 rooms and put the pre-teen kids together in 1 bed......a recipe for disaster.

We stayed at the San Juan Inn a couple of years ago. While it isn't luxurious, it was clean and a good value for the price. If you are going to stay in Mexican Hat I wouldn't consider any of the other motels we saw.
