I agree ! I was there a couple of weeks ago and am returning Monday for Halloween and Dia de los Muertos !

FainaAgain, NO, the reason no one wants to add to your comments is that everyone here (this is a travel forum-remember?) already knows that San Francisco is, has been, and always will be the best city to visit! We don't need you to tell us. {PLEASE, do not mis-read the tone of my message- I loved your comment!!]

I read that too Faina. I was happy to hear that, and glad I'm only 50 miles away from "our" great city. :-)

I can say form first-hand experience it was fabulous visiting SFO during the 1989 earthquake since I emerged from the 18th floor of a hotel without a scratch.

I'm sure if we wait long enough that "person" from New York will chime in with something awful (although we know she's terribly jealous) so stay tuned.
