Hi Mocat, just to get you started with information go to the SF Chronical's website which is: www.sfgate.com. Look on the left side of the screen for Entertainment etc. Have fun in SF!!!

If you've got a car, I highly recommend the Mountain Winery concert venue. A small outdoor ampitheater in the hills of Saratoga (about 45 minutes south of SF).

Yes, SFgate is the best.
