iamq- I WAS in San Francisco last Sept (labor day weekend) and it was absolutely gorgeous then! Just didn't expect Memorial Day weekend would be so miserable. But you Californians can thank me for contributing to your State sales tax - as I ended up buying a jacket at Nordstrom!

Thanks for the $$$ contribution - we're running short of tax money here.

But did you find good coffee and pastries to take back to the hotel yk? Inquiring minds want to know.

But yes it was even miserable weather here in the Sacramento Valley, at least in the southern end where I live. Terrible wind. September and usually part of October is fabulous weather wise in SF. Now I did say "usually". And of course SF has microclimates so it depends where in SF you are.

Hi LoveItaly- I'll try to post a brief trip report tomorrow when I am less tired/jet-lagged (flew the red-eye home last night/this morning).

Yeah...me too....I'm car lagged.

You are talking to an experienced SF visitor who FORGOT his windbreaker...but survived....I had my mind on other things..
like cat herding and a big piece of Caesar's lasagna and 7 course meal.

THEE Stu...I better get a Thank You card from Mayor Newsom after this trip. $-)$-)$-)
