San Francisco (*redux query re: Rte 76)

*We contacted MUNI, but their response was in adequate. Seems this Sundays-only bus helps city-weary folks escape to Ft. Cronkhite and Rodeo Lagoon in the Marin headlands. Three questions: 1) anyone know where it departs from? 2) apparently it runs once per hour, but does it leave 'on the hour' (i.e. 8,9,10...)?
3) does it stop along Conzelman road and if so, how far would one have to walk from there to the terminus at Ft. Cronkhite/Townsley Batteries?

Have you looked at this muni page?

just for future reference - it would have been better to top your earlier thread instead of starting a new one. . . . .

This bus runs on Sundays (and probably on holidays) from the Caltrain station on Tounsend and 4th St along Sutter St and Van Ness to the Golden Gate bridge and on to Lagoon or something :)

Coming back, bridge, Van Ness, Post and back to Caltrain station. It makes stops on the way, but to be sure, flag it, as it runs almost empty.

The price is $1.50 (and you can return with the same transfer ticket if it doesn't run out of time indicated on the transfer) or use MUNI pass.

The schedule is on MUNI website, but... it's a bus, not a train, the time is approximate :)

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 05:38 PM.
