Has anyone used Priceline lately for a Union Square hotel?

used priceline 2 x for san fran. stayed at the marriott which is just off of union square and at a boutiqe hotel. priceline worked well would reccomend it. check bidding for travel that helped alot

dewdrop: I recently did my bidding on priceline for San Francisco (06/03/06-06/07/06). 4 Stay hotel in Union Square got the Hilton on o'Farell (I think this is how it is spelled) and I bid it for $79.00 the only think you have to keep in mind if you have a car parking is expensive. I also did it for the start of my vacation (05/26 to 05/28) and got the Marriott by the airport (when I made this bid I had marked all areas) the total for those 2 days came out to $144.00 and that includes taxes and it is also for a 4 star hotel. I tried USE and West but was rejected,,,getting a little too pricey...strategy did not work at that time.

Used Priceline and got Villa Florence for $70 a night, 3/9-3/13.
