San Francisco Hotels - Compare bathroom size
 

I know this sounds like a crazy post...but I've done tons of research now for our family of four travelling to SF in August. Have narrowed it down to The Argonaut, the Crowne Plaza in Union Square and a suite at the Cartwright.

I think my family is fine with a smallish room with two queen beds; however, it's easier to do so if there is some room at the sink/vanity in the bathroom. Don't have primping teens yet; however, it's always a challenge to get hubby shaved and me and daughter's hair dried unless there's room to spare.

I know the Cartwright's bathrooms are small (have to call to see if the suite has two bathrooms). Can anyone tell me about the Crowne Plaza and the Argonaut. Are they simple pedestal sinks? Any extra room?

I don't remember what kind of sink was in the Argonaut and failed to take a photo, but the bathroom wasn't especially large.

No, Curious, I'm not kidding. Fodorites are always incredibly helpful in planning many of the details of our trip and I thought they might be helpful on this one as April has been.

For a family, especially one with a car, the best is the Larkspur Landing Hotel in South San Francisco. Read the reviews on Tripadvisor and see if you don't agree!

Otherwise, I would try for a hotel with a "suite" - these usually have one sink outside the bathroom and one inside.
