San Francisco hotels
 

Can anyone help me with the difference between the Orchard Hotel and the Orchard Garden Hotel? I know they are sister hotels. Both get great reviews, does anyone prefer one to the other, and why? Also am considering the White Swan Inn....has anyone stayed there?

I googled both Orchards - one is on Bush @ Powell, on a steep hill, another on Bush @ Grant, at the Chinatown gates. Location-wise, especially if you need public transport, garden is a little better, closer to buses, to Union Square and Embarcadero. Swan... same as Orchard.

Haven't stayed at any of those.

I would stay at the Orchard Hotel, its a bit more expensive, but its worth it.

I think that the difference is that the Orchard Hotel has an orchard whereas the Orchard Garden Hotel has both an orchard and a garden.
