I live here and have to try the cheese toasties! (as well as the cioppino at Cioppino's). Love getting the perspective of people who don't live here (we ate at a Vietnamese restaurant Saturday night - 15 minute walk from home, 4 minute drive....and we'd never been there before and it was very good. By the time we left, it was full and there was a line of people waiting for tables. Good to find new things, wherever they come from).

Denisea, happy that you had such great weather in SF. You hit a few of our faves like the Water Bar and Fillmore St.
You seemed to pack in a number of things in your short visit.

With its 800+ mile coast, CA always calls us back. In the spring, we enjoyed a week-long trip to a bit of So Cal where we met up with Mai Tai Tom and Tracy. Great fun!

Reading your experiences in SF reminds us that we need to revisit soon. Thanks for your report!

You will not regret the cheese toasties. They are just too good.

sf7307, I know what you mean about what a visitor sees and likes about where you live. I am jealous of anyone living in San Francisco, especially in summer when it is so hot and humid here in Atlanta.

Tomarkot....jealous of your GTG with maitaitom and Tracy! How fun.

I don't know what it is about San Francisco but it is one of the most alluring cities I have ever been to. It is just breathtaking and beautiful.
