Sorry, can't find the thread about the strike... they won't go on strike before July 6, and after that there may be a cooling off period.

Hello all, the SF Chronical (www.sfgate.com) is announcing that BART will be on strike next Wednesday if a settlement is not reached.

I talked to my daughter's neighbor last night. He is a long term employee of BART. He said that it looks, the way things are going, that there will be a strike.

BART is going to strike again? D'oh!! Bart!!

Hi TripleSecDelay - not BART - BARF, LOL. But seriously a BART strike will be a big problem for SF and the Bay Area & from the update at www.sfgate.com it sure looks like it might very well happen.

Exhale, everybody! Another agreement for 4 years. No strike. No hitchhiking :)

Kal, did you read in the Chronicle - they plan to extend BART to Hawaii?
