San Francisco Airport Hotels

Any recommendations for a one night stay at the San Francisco Airport? We will be coming back from Napa and need one night before our flight next morning. Don't want to spend a fortune. I've researched all the hotels and know what they are, but want recommendations. Thanks.

The Westin is the nicest of the bunch, I think. The Hyatt and Marriott are also other dependable choices.

I've stayed in all of them...Westin, Hyatt and Marriot are the nicest...I just got back from the Ramada...while not as nice as the others, it has just been redecorated and is a good value for the price and if you are only there for one night and want to save at least $100 it is a good choice...they have a 24 hour airport shuttle as well. If you want to splurge, try restaurant Qi in the international terminal of SFO...very nice! Also check out the deals on Yahoo travel...I saw the Weston SFO on sale this week for $119...when the traffic is light, the rooms are cheaper. I hope this helps.

I think the Westin or the Marriott would be the better hotels over the Hyatt San Francisco Airport. When I stayed by the airport I stayed at the Embassy Suites Burlingame and Embassy Suites South SFO, however I would stay at the Westin or Marriott over those two hotels unless you're traveling with family. Regarding the Westin SFO, it is located literally right by the runway of the airport, however it has probably the most spectacular indoor pool in the area, and is a really nice hotel overall. The Marriott SFO is also a nice hotel, which is located right on the San Francisco Bay, and has a atrium type lobby, which has good views of planes taking off and landing.

I hope this is of some help, if you have any other questions please feel free to post them.

Qi in the International Terminal is getting great reviews out here. Sounds strange to recommend a restaurant in the airport, but it sounds really great. Also in the area is the Hong Kong Flower Garden Lounge, Pisces (related to Aqua for fish), and Kuleto's in Burlingame. Depending on your flight time, you could also stay in the city. It's not a long ride via taxi.
