Don't let him out of your sight!<BR>"How about some candy, little boy?"<BR>"Wanna reach in my pocket and get some more?"<BR>

There are some very recent posts about this same subject. You should be able to search for San Francisco to find them.<BR><BR>Here are my recommendations:<BR>California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park; aquarium, planetarium and natural history museum. http://www.calacademy.org/<BR><BR>Crissy Field - visit the beach and fly a kite. http://www.crissyfield.org/<BR><BR>The Exploratorium. The museum of science, art and human perception. http://www.exploratorium.edu/<BR><BR>Ice scating or bowling at the Moscone Center. http://www.moscone.com/<BR><BR>Fisherman's Wharf - visiting the sea lions.<BR><BR>This should be a good start. <BR>

If you're still there latre Monday there is a Giants game at 1:00. Tickets can be purchased online or at the stadium. Ususally someone is trying to sell even for face value.

Irene take the warnings about watching your son seriously. When my sons were young they disappeared from the hotel lobby for a while and the hotel staff was more frantic than I was. I guess they knew something that I didn't. Keep an eye or two on them, to protect them from strangers.

Today when at my favorite kids' store, Ambassador Toys on Union Street, I found a great book:<BR><BR>"Where should we take the Kids? California. 3rd Edition," By Clark Northon. <BR><BR>It was not until after I got home and started reading it that I realized it was a Fodor's book. Great stuff, Fodor's. I recommend it - I am already half way through it!

Even if you don't want to get Giant's tickets, you are welcome to stand in the free center field viewing area for at least 3 innings to watch what's going on at the game. If your 11 year old is at all interested in baseball, Pac Bell is wonderful--kids love it and of course, everyone loves Barry Bonds.

Boy,all this homophobia(hidden and blatent)is really funny.<BR>Learn the facts you pathetic small minded losers.A lost child could happen anywhere and has no bearing on the location, just the stupidity of the parents. And a child is MUCH more likely to be molested by a friend or relative than strangers.<BR>Grow up
