Poor San Jose--it's really an OK place but it sure isn't San Francisco. I'm really torn living between the two of them. But, please posters, no Frisco (unless you live there and then you're allowed) and the road from Santa Cruz (not San Jose!) to SF is Highway 1--not the Pacific Coast Highway. It's a pretty drive but going the other way is better--that's the part through Big Sur. San Fran is an airlines abbreviation, not one we use around here and SFO only refers to the airport.I admit to being grouchy today but this SF vs. San Jose thing is stupid and pointless.
