San Fran Airport to hotel

We are landing in San Francisco from Hawaii and want information about transport to our hotel at Fishermans Wharf. I know we can take Taxis but are there other options, how far is it and what would be approx. costs?

Hello mazbaz, here is the public transportation information from the official SFO website which gives you all the information regarding transportation from SFO. Welcome to San Francisco and wishes you have a beautiful visit!

This is not a good trip by BART and trolley. Union Square is fine by BART.

I would take one of the van services to the hotel IF I were a fairly patient person. Why? Because Fishermen's Wharf is likely to be at the end of the line and the van will drop people off at their homes and other hotels, thus giving you a free tour of some of the city you might not otherwise see. If I were tired and not patient, I would take a taxi.

I wouldn't say "San Fran" at all.

Everything is a "depends":

Depends on how many is "we" - two people, you could consider BART; four people, then the collective BART + other transportation costs means that you're better off just taking a taxi

Depends on how much luggage you have

Depends on how young you are - hauling all that luggage around is really for the young and/or strong

All depends.
