San Diego Wild Animal Park

Hi, for those who've experienced it, was the photo caravan at the Wild Animal Park worth it? At close to $100 a person, it's a hefty charge. thanks.

I have done it twice. I consider it well worth the money.
I believe the last time we did it the cost included parking and park entrance fees, so it's not as expensive as it looks.
You will never forget the close up view of a giraffe lowering its head into the truck bed and its purple tongue pulling a biscuit from your hand. Or petting the armored plates of a rhino after throwing an apple in its mouth.

Thanks for the reply. Wasn't sure how up-close and personal you get with the animals. Sounds like it's well worth it.

the photo caravan was awesome. I touched a rhino's horn and feed it a carrot -- amazing! It is worth the price. Don't miss out on the other aspects of the park, shows, etc. it is fun and can get hot in the summer.

If you like seeing wild animals, the caravan is great. The normal tram only skirts the large animal grazing areas, but the photo caravan takes you right up to them.
