San Diego to Ensenada-MX without a car-how?
 

I am wanting to spend a few days in Ensenada while in the San Diego area and I am wondering what is the most efficient way to get there from San Diego. Is there a train from San Diego to Ensenada, or do I have to go to Tijuana and connect from there? Any suggestions on places to stay & things to do in Ensenada would be appreciated, as well. Thanks.

you can take the trolley down to the border, walk over and there are buses that run a few times a day down there but i don't know where you go to catch one.

Take the trolly to the border, walk across. Busses leave for the short shuttle to downtown TJ every few minutes. Or, take a cab directly to your hotel. Cab fares are negotiable. but don't pay more than $5 US unless the hotel is some distance from the cith center. Shop, eat and bet on the Jai Lai at the fronton. Have fun. Stock up on perscription drugs at a fraction of the cost at home.

OOPS!!!! Sorry for the bad info. I mis read your post as Tiajuana instead of Ensenada. You will have a tough time getting there without a car.
