San Diego Theatre

We have been told about an open air theatre in San Diego where the performance stops when planes go over. When trying to check it out online there seems to be conflicting info as to whether it has closed down or not, can anybody enlighten me?
Thanks

Do you mean the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre of SD's Old Globe Theatre?

It's an outdoor stage, sure. And it operates in summer months. So it's dark in winter.

Given that most of Balboa Park is under the final flightpath of San Diego International, I could see them pausing the action for low-flying jets....

It used to be worse - but now the jets are about 35%+ quieter.

I suspect it might be the very large Starlight Musical Theatre also in Balboa Park. I saw a production of Urinetown there a few years ago that stopped and held maybe 5 to 10 times.

I'm thinking the Starlight Theatre
