San Diego restaurants

Staying in Coronado section of San Diego for the month of February. Looking for good restaurants there and in San Diego proper.

My sister swears by Kemosabe. I think it's in the Gaslight district. It's innovative Southwest cuisine.

In Coronado, ignoring the major hotel, Chez Loma at 1132 Loma Ave. is considered to be an out of ordinary "intimate", "romatic" spot with excellent Continental cooking. If they still have "early bird specials" they are a bargain.

I live in San Diego. I strongly recommend 'Miguel's Cocina' for great Mexican food, ambience, service and reasonable prices. It is located across from the Hotel Del Coronado in the courtyard where the Brigantine restaurant is.

I also recommend th Dakota Grill for great California cuisine. It is located on the corner of 5th and E in the Gaslamp area.

Kemosabe is amazing. Pricey, but amazing. It's in Hillcrest, on Fifth Ave and Washington. Do not attempt to walk there from Coronado. It's about 15 miles or so!
