San Diego Prado Restaurant patios?

The photo looks like there are several patios? Best place to sit for an early dinner this time of year (summer)?

Prado is wonderful to sit out either front or back of the restaurant..bring a light jacket since it does drop down to 60's at night.

The Prado restaurant can be crowded and often a long wait.

So make a reservation.

Thank you, wonderful San Diego people! We had a wonderful dinner there. We had a reservation (made about a week ago) and sat on the large back patio. I saw a wedding was about to start (we arrived at 5:30, which was great), so we sat at the center table overlooking the garden where the wedding was just yards below us.

We had a perfect waiter, young, handsome and knew food. He knew how to describe the specials so you wanted to try all of them. You're right TahitiTams, a light jacket or sweater is needed.

I picked this restaurant because we were going to the Old Globe theater nearby, but I was impressed with the food there. My kobe beef sushi was outstanding. Our entrees (a fish with a spot-on curry sauce and a special thick rib-eye with lobster mash) outdid our expectations.

The wedding finished (it was lovely, with four flower girls) and we enjoyed our coffees. We want to make this a tradition now, every summer. Prado and the Old Globe.

I am so glad you had a wonderful time!
Food is great and you can't beat the location if you are going to the Globe..the Dead Sea Scrolls are at the Natural History Musuem so you might have to go back to the Prado for another dinner on the patio!
