Two twenty-something vistors coming to town? What are the bars/clubs that we should go to? What are the places that won't just be a bunch of tourists? Looking for cool, friendly places, w/music but not really hard core club scene. Staying downtown and probably won't be venturing too far (no car). <BR><BR>Any other advice for a fun weekend?

Wander the Gaslamp Quarter and you will find plenty of fun that isn't too "edgy."

Taylor,<BR>The Gaslamp quarter has something for everyone: Jazz clubs, dance clubs, R&B, etc... Wander around and you'll find something that appeals to you.

another vote for the gaslamp quarter.

Went to the Gaslamp District and it was really busy with 20 somethings. It is especially busy with groups of women who are getting married (bachloette parties)as they are wearing tattered veils and partying along the way. We saw lots of them. They appeared to be having fun. Makes you wonder why theyr're getting married, haha.

A ton of places in the Gaslamp--and you might want to take a cab over to Mission Beach--some fun places there, also.

Pacific Beach (otherwise known as PB) is a popular hangout for the 20 something crowd.

I'm a twenty-something and usually stay in/around PB...LOVE moondoggies. Many very cool, laidback bars on Garnet. Not clubby. Worth a cab ride.

yeah, PB is good too, more beachy, less urban feel.
