San Diego, Memorial Day- Bring a Sweater

Just a heads up, if you're planning to come to San Diego this weekend it's a little chilly. Bring a sweater.

It has gotten much cooler here in the SF/Bay Area and the Sacramento Valley also. In fact we are suppose to have some light rain at least on Saturday.

We had a little rain today, and I don't know anyone who wasn't thrilled not to have to water their garden.
But I do feel sorry for people who want to come for a little vacation in the sun. Brrr.

We had only a tiny bit of drizzle here, barely enough to wet the windscreen and not, unfortunately, enough to turn the sprinklers off.

It is going to be a chilly, overcast a possibly thundery day today and tomorrow.

Some crazy weather around S. California. They had "film at 11" of a snow-ball fight in Baldwin Park (near LA). It was actually hail, and several inches worth.

Still quite a relief from the 90+ degrees we had a few days ago.

Let's not forget the two, maybe three, tornados in Riverside County on Thursday! We never get them here.

I don't mind at all to see the 90 degree weather gone. But I would like my tomatoes to ripen. It's raining right now. Good thing I'd planned to paint for today and tomarrow.

It's raining here too. And windy, and chilly (57).

I watched that news at 11 and saw that they had so much hail, they were able to build a good sized snowman in Baldwin Park.

It's gray, cool, windy and a little bit wet here in coastal L.A. county, too.

Speaking of San Diego, though, does anyone know where TahitiTams has been?

I don't know about TahitiTams, I miss her too.

Besides being nice, she’s always so conscientious in her posting for San Diego. I’ve been trying to take up some slack but it’ll take all of us to fill her shoes Hurry back TT.

Weird weather across the Southwest, it seems. Here in Tucson it's *maybe* 65 today. We had planned to camp in the mountains tonight but it SNOWED. Earlier this week it was over 100.

Barbara and L84SKY-You may not have gotten much rain in your area but it poured in Fallbrook and other parts of North County on Thursday. Today it has been raining off and on much of the day and very chilly.

I am also glad to be rid of the 90 degree heat but seems like it should be a little warmer for Memorial Day. What strange weather!!

Hi Paula! Strange weather indeed. We had several days of triple digit temps, this week we had winds so strong trees fell on houses and cars and now it is overcast and cold and like I said rain is due tomorrow. I knew I should have not put my winter clothes, shoes and purses away, lol.

paula, were you in the area of the flash flood warnings? It rained on and off here most of the day, not pouring though. Just enough to get the dog smelly and too cold to give him a bath. (We're dogsitting for some friends who took their motorcycles to Sedona for the weekend- talk about chilly.)

Even though, this isn't the coldest May weather we've had, the record is 47.0° F (05/01/1932), it does make me think that we could use some of this global warming I've heard so much about.

Mmmmm.... I like this weather after the heat wave last week. I am snug as a bug under my fleecy Costco bathrobe with my English Breakfast tea by my side and my favorite music playing. The weather has been a roller coaster! I am flying to Park City later today and heard they had 90s plus a week ago and now it's in the 40s-50s.

It's all my fault, I had my car washed the day before the rain.

L84SKY-No flash floods where I lived. I think they were a little further out in Pala and Pauma Valley. I did hear something about Bonsall also which is very close to me.
