San Diego in a Day?
 

Hi - I am going to Rancho La Puerta and am considering flying into San Diego the day before in the morning. I'm trying to decide if it is worth coming early for just one day to see San Diego. I don't have a sense of what I would do if I arrived at 11:00 in the morning and had one day/night to do a little sightseeing. Does anyone have suggestions of what to do and where to stay, or even if I should even go for such a short time vs. going directly to Rancho La Puerta?

i love san diego but before answering, i'd ask where is Rancho La Puerta and what type of things do you like to do? will you rent a car for a day?

Agree it's hard to make a judgement w/o knowing your interests, your budget, how far RAncho La Puerta is, etc.

There is a tourist trolley that hits most of the highlights.
