San Diego Hotels - reasonable

Can anyone recommend a hotel in San Diego for about $100+/night maybe Hotel Circle. We'll be there taking our daughter down to San Diego State at the end of August and just need a room for a night.

There are several modestly priced motels near the school: Days Inn, Ramada, Rodeway, and Travelodge among them.

Just google away. There are many inespensive places along both sides of the freeway - 8 - near/along the Hotel Circle area. If you want something more fun/unique - albeit a bit more pricey - check out the Victorian B & B places just above Old Town at Heritage Park/Square. http://www.heritageparkinn.com/

They have one room as low as $125 - and I think that includes a very nice breakfast. http://www.heritageparkinn.com/hpirms1.htm

You can also use kayak.com and put the cost and location into the search parameters.
