San Diego Hotels - Help me pick choose between two
 

I'm looking at either the Marriott on Coronado or the Sea Lodge in La Jolla. There are two of us plus our 16 year old son and we will be there in March.<BR><BR>Thanks

I have heard bad things about the Sea Lodge from more than one person (they say it is a dump! And this is from a Brit!)..stay at the MC on Coronado .

I stayed at the Marriott on Coronado last August. It was a very nice hotel with nice views of downtown San Diego. Nice pool and hot tub. The only downfall is you have to pay $15 (give or take a $) each night of your stay to park in the hotel parking garage. You really have no other choice but to park there. Also, you do not have to pay the toll over the Coronado Bridge if you have more than 1 person in the car. That was a huge savings!<BR><BR>Have fun!

The Marriott On Coronado...much prettier than La Jolla!! Have Fun!!

The Sea Lodge a dump? Are you refering to the one that's next to the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club? I've never stayed there but I wouldn't have called it a dump. Has it gone downhill recently?

The Marriott is really nice with a great view of the skyline and is really close to the ferry you can take to get to downtown. My vote would definitely be the Marriott.
