San Diego Hotels

Does anyone have reviews from a stay at the Westin Horton Plaza hotel in San Diego? We booked a room through priceline. After reading terrible reviews we are thinking of re-booking someplace else.

Thank you.

From my experience, once you've booked on Priceline, it's very difficult to get out of it with your money back. I haven't been inside the Westin Horton Plaza, but it's in a great location.

Really the only way to get a refund from Priceline is if you bought the trip insurance and have a qualifying reason to cancel - usually some sort of emergency. Otherwise you will lose your money. If the place is THAT bad, it might be worth it. I checked the customer reviews on Tripadvisor and they are mostly positive which a couple negative reviews.

Where did you read the negative reviews? I looked on biddingfortravel, and it looks like only two out of seven reviews had anything negative to say, and it appears that their main complaint was that the rooms were small. I have used Priceline on numerous occasions and have learned that there are some natural born critics out there that will find something negative to complain about.

I appreciate your comments. Thank you so much for your responses. I just thought that the comments on tripadvisor were more negative than positive. I am going to reread them. Thanks again!
