Hi, Anyone know where one can buy fresh dates near San Diego without traveling 90 miles to the desert?

I buy a lot of fresh and organic produce from local farmers markets.
My favorite market is in Hillcrest on the weekend. It's in the DMV parking lot.

Another great farmers market is in La Jolla at La Jolla Elementary School on Girard.
Check the internet for times and days, and other markets scattered all throughout the county.

I assume you mean the dates that you buy as produce? Right? :)

Thanks loads for the info - I'll google the markets for their location. So I imagine you are saying they sell fresh dates probably from the CA desert towns?
And yes, produce dates!

Barons Marketplace in Pt. loma has fresh medjools and when Ocean Beach people's can get organic dates they also sell fresh dates.
