San Diego Beachfront Hotels for family vacation
 

Our family is planning a trip to San Diego this July for 7 days/6 nights. I would like a place on the beach with two bedroom/two bath accommodations or connecting rooms. I like the idea of a hotel (in-room movies, room service) rather than a condo. Looking to spend no more than $700 per night. Suggestions?

$700 per night? You can rent a house in San Diego for $3,000 MONTH on the beach.

check out Hotel del Coronado.

Another possibility in La Jolla is La Jolla Shores Hotel.

San Diego does not have the best "beach" front hotels - Hotel Del is something to check out, I like the La Valencia in La Jolla but that is not on the beach so much - I have not been to the La Jolla shores hotel is over 20 years...so cannot recommend that....but it is very popular.
