San Diego
Hi all! My husband and I are going to San Diego for the first time and need some help. We were recommended a seafood restaurant a couple blocks away from the USS Midway and the top floor of the restaurant is for couple, pretty fancy whereas the bottom floor is more kid friendly and not as expensive. Does anyone know the name of the restaurant? What about other great seafood restaurants? I'm from Denver, CO and the only seafood we really have is Red Lobster. Thanks for your help!!!

I believe the restaurant you describe is the Fish Market. Upstairs is called Top of the Market. The downstairs restaurant does not take reservations, so sometimes you have to wait quite a while.
You'll find that most restaurants in San Diego have seafood as part of their menu.
You could also try Anthony's Fish Grotto, which is also not far from the Midway.

Hi, Jamie,
You're thinking of Fish Market Seafood Restaurant on 750 N. Harbor Dr. Google the restaurant and you can see the menu and the prices. I live in San Diego and I don't think we have any "great" seafood restaurants in our town though we're improving.

Hi jamie,
I see your new here, welcome.
I was just in San Diego and had dinner at The Fish Market.
YOu can read my trip report here:

The report isn't done, so this isn't on it yet. We also had a great seafood lunch at Point Loma Seafood, it was a bit of a drive but worth it:

Check this thread out on another forum, I posted it looking for seafood places:

Also, just to let you know, the Trip report flag and icon are only used when you report after a trip, to tell others what you did etc. If you just want to ask a question, just post the inquiry.

Is there something more dressy? They all sound great and will probably hit some of them up for lunch but I'm really looking for a place for my husband and I to celebrate our 11 year wedding anniversary. Thanks!

Will you have a car? For special occasion, dinner at George's at the Cove in La Jolla would be great {I had my birthday lunch there, food was excellent, only the view was better}. Or how about at the Del [del coranado hotel on Coranado Island]?
