San Antonio Weather in February

I would like to visit San Antonio for feive days in late February. Is it warm enough for shorts and sandals? Do I need to wait until April?

Nobody can predict what the weather will be in February but I doubt it will be warm enough for shorts and sandals. If that's what you want, I would definitely go in April.

If wearing shorts and sandals is important to your enjoyment, April is a better bet. Normally temperate in February, if you were in San Antonio this week, you would have needed galoshes and a show shovel.

Yeah, funny that this particular question would be asked this week! Sunday was my son's birthday. While we were driving home from church during the ice storm, we were remembering all the many birthday parties when he was little, where the kids played outside, without a coat. You just never know in Texas!

It'll probably be chilly, but like everyone else has said, you just never know in Texas. Last April, it was pretty chilly at the beginning of the month.
