San Antonio September Weather

Is San Antonia weather too hot to visit in mid September? Underground. com doesn't have any data for 2008.

Thanks

Sorry I thought I posted to the Texas board.

wwwmarge, there is no such thing as the "texas" board -- although you can "tag" something "texas", all the posts go into one big USA board.

September is a transition month in Texas . . as a rule, early will still be hot . . late should be moderate. The influencing factor is whether we have a hurricane in the gulf . . those tend to break the heat spell

Agree. Count on 90s first half of month. No guarantees, but usually cool fronts start around mid to late Sept, with temps in the 60s at night but still in 80s during the day.

The later you go in the month, the more likely the weather will be pleasant. Early September can still be really hot 90s. In late September, you'll probably need a light jacket in the evenings.

Even late September (or early October for that matter) can get well into the 90's. I remember when it was 107 at the ACL Fest a few years ago and that's in mid/late September. It can also be cooler 60s night/80s day like other posters mentioned.

Yes, we've been having wonderful weather lately. Highs in the upper 70's to mid 80's expected. Just lovely.
