San Antonio

Hi all!

I'm arriving in San Antonio around 9:30pm next Wednesday, and I will be there until 5pm the next day. Can you help me fill in my itinerary to maximize my SHORT amount of time there?
I'd be so grateful! I love understanding the local culture and am very interested in modern/contemporary art, as well as getting an essential understanding of San Antonio. I wish I had time to explore different neighborhoods and museums. I'm having a really hard time deciding which museum to go to, and whether I have time to uber to a slightly farther museum and explore a different neighborhood or not. Any recommendations as to what's doable in the itinerary below?

Wednesday
9:30pm - Flight lands. Uber from airport to hotel (5 min walk from the alamo)
10pm - Any ideas of places to eat/drink? Will I feel safe walking around at night?

Thursday
9am - Breakfast at Mi Tierra in Market Square (Or i could come here the night before, since they serve food 24/7!!)
10am - Walk through Spanish Governor Palace, San Fernando's Cathedral & River Walk
11am - La Villita Historic Arts district
*Insert Art Museum here*
*Lunch suggestions?*
3pm - Walking tour at the Alamo (is this worth it or should I explore it on my own?)
5pm - Greyhound bus leaving San Antonio (a 5-minute walk from the Alamo)

Thank you!!

San Antonio Recommendations

San Antonio is safe for the most to walk around at night! If you're looking for a place to grab a drink, I would suggest Blue Box and Hotel Emma at The Pearl! There are many other bars and restaurants in that area to grab a drink. If you would rather grab a drink downtown, Howl at the Moon is a great piano bar!

For dinner or a drink you could stroll the riverwalk and stop wherever strikes your eye. There are many places to eat and drink right on the riverwalk.

J62: The trip was months ago. Brookesr101 has topped several old/out of date threads . . .
