san antonio

Hello! I am wondering, are there any restaurants in San Antonio that serve Kansas City-style barbeque that you know of?? My mom just loves Kansas City-style bbq and I would love to take her someplace for her birthday in San Antonio where they serve it. Thank you!

We didn't find any when we were there in September. Why not order KC BBQ shipped from Jack Stack?

I sent one of their packages to my brother for Christmas and he enjoyed the sauce so much that he went online and ordered 4 more bottles the same day he tried it.

Kansas City-style BBQ in Texas--now that's just heresy! (-;
But seriously, I think Keith has given you good advice. I can't imagine any restaurant in San Antonio selling anything other than Texas BBQ.

Hyatt Regency on the Riverwalk (the "old" Hyatt, not the newer Grand Hyatt) redid their restaurant in a new concept that may meet your specs - http://hyatt.com/gallery/qriverwalk/
