Safty after Broadway Show
We will stay at Radisson Hotel 0m Lexigton and 48th. Is it safe to walk back to the hotel after the broadway show? Is it easy to find a taxi after the show?

Thank you
|
It's very saf om Lexigton.

Does no one take any pride in what they do anymore?
|
It will be safe as long as you look both ways before crossing the street.

Cabs are hard to get when the shows break but you will get one if you have patience. It would be safe to walk back to the hotel. THere will be plenty of people about.

Statiscally speaking, New York is actually much safer than many other U.S. cities. You'll be fine walking as it is a relatively short distance from Times Square to your hotel. You'll be wasting you money with a cab.

If you are intent to take a cab for safety reasons, an alternative is to take the city bus across 50th St.

Thank you for all the replies. Sorry for the misspelled words on my post.

Sylvia, it would take you longer to find a cab, sit in traffic, and ride to your hotel than it would to walk back to your hotel. Enjoy the walk back as it shouldn't take you any more than 15 minutes at most. Also, there is a cop on just about every corner in Times Square.

I agree with xxx. One of the best things about the Summer nights in NYC is walking around. On your way, you might want to stop into a bar or cafe and enjoy the evening. Also, you are always safer walking than riding with most of the cab drivers!
