Sacramento to SF--Public Trans?

Other than car is there a way to get from Sacramento to SF?

John Feb 29th, 2000 09:45 AM

Yes. By airplane (most easily by commuter airline), Amtrak, or Greyhound Bus.

I used to make that run all the time and found that the Greyhound bus was best. It goes no matter the weather; there often is fog on that route. It takes you from city center to city center. It costs only a fraction of other ways.

You can also take bus from Sacramento to Vallejo and catch the ferry to downtown SF. info at baylinkferry.com

Rene is right! And it's a great, and very scenice ferry ride, too; it lands you right in the heart of the City. And that catamaran ferry MOVES!
