Route from Cape May to Newport?
 

Am looking for suggestions for a driving route from Cape May to Newport, RI that is not heavily trafficed and congested. Have lots of time, so don't mind going out of the way.

This route includes all major highways...<BR>95 South<BR>287 over the Tappan Zee Bridge<BR>This turns into The NY Thruway for a bit<BR>Then get on the Garden State Parkway...all the way to the end. You really have to take the parkway to get to all NJ points south.

Oops..reverse the above. Thought you said from Newport to Cape May. I know you also said least traffic but there is hardly any other way short of taking major backroads towards PA<BR>BTW love both Newport and Cape May!Lucky you!<BR>
