round-trip air to Hawaii

Is it possible to book a round-trip air ticket into Maui and out of Honolulu without going through a travel agent? How do I avoid buying 2 one-way tickets (which is much more expensive than a round-trip ticket).

Use the muti-city option on the website you are checking fares.

Most likely will not be more money.

I flew Aloha Air last September into Hilo and out of Kona, it's very easy. They often quote their fare sales as one way prices so it's easy to build a two city roundtrip this way, and it's just as cheap as a roundtrip; Aloha's pretty cool that way.

It's called an open-jaw routing and as circa2 said it's dead easy on any of the on-line booking services or websites of airlines that fly to both places. Where are you coming from?

I just got air, mulit city on American from Grand Rapids, MI to Maui for $600 RT. Pretty good price.

We just purchased tickets from Chicago to Kona coming back from Maui for about $600. We checked fares on expedia (multiple destinations) to find the lowest fare and then went to United to actually purchase the tickets to avoid expedias fee. However, once I was on United site I found better flight times for the same price. The exact same flights were over $800 on expedia.
