Thanks mclaurie! We'll be at the Excelsior the whole time. Decided the $94 a night per room made Early Aunt Martha OK. That and the 1/2 mile walk across the park to the Met. We're all very excited.

rose - If you're in the UWS on Sunday, be sure to stop by the 77th Street Sunday Flea & Green Market, located on Columbus Avenue at 76-77th Streets. It's held most Sundays between 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. It might be a little early in the season for the "Green" (farmers) market, but the flea market should be up and going. I've always found something to buy at this market - it has a very eclectic assortment of "stuff". Part of the flea market is held inside the school house (I love looking at the antique jewelry).
