Room size, Chicago, 6-8 ladies!

Hi, I know that somewhere I have visited a site that gives room sizes, but for the life of me I can not remember where! There will be 6 to 8 of us visiting Chicago for a shopping (well for me, people watching and a place to knock one back) visit, and I would like to book a few rooms of pretty good size. Don't have to be huge, but a decent counter (bathroom) for one of the ladies is appreciated. Looking at the North Michigan area. (Want to hit Rush street in the evening)Anyone know of this site? or have some good suggestions for a place to stay? Thank you all!
Bo

Sorry, I'm not that familiar with Chicago, so this probably won't help much, but: years ago I stayed at the Palmer House with a friend, in a room with two full size beds and, oddly enough, two full bathrooms. It was perfect for sharing, as it was quite spacious besides having the two loos. But I don't know how the location would work for you, or what the hotel is like these days...
Good luck!

Bo,
Last year DH & I spent a night at the Wyndham Chicago (Clair Street) just one block east of Michigan Ave. We had a corner room that was quite large. The bathroom was also large, with a lot of counter space.

Not sure about the size of the interior rooms, but our corner room as very nice.

I don't know of the site, but your best bet for a larger room would be one of the suite-type hotels. There are several in the River North/Magnificant Mile area. Embassy Suites at 600 N State or Columbus nr. Navy Pier; Doubletree on E Delaware; Homewood Suites, 40 E Grand; Residence Inn; Fairfield Suites, 216 E Ohio or Residence Inn 201 E Walton; r

We have also stayed at the Palmer House in a room with 2 beds and 2 bathrooms - the room was also larger than most.

Avoid the Allegro, it is a wonderful hotel, but the rooms there are small. I'm sorry I can't help out more, but that is the only hotel here where I've been in the rooms (when some out of town friends came to visit).

My best friend and I got a suite at the Intercontinental. could have housed four of us comfortably. Great bathrooms!! Ideal location with an excellent restaurant.

The bathroom at the Wyndham is huge, and the rooms are very nice. The Doubletree also has a nice size bathroom, and the rooms are suites, with a living room and bedroom. I'm staying there in 2 weeks.
