Room for rent for summer worker on Martha's Vineyard
 

I am looking for a room to rent for the summer in Oak bluff or Edgar town on Martha's vineyard from May- November. The price range I am looking for is $120-$150 per week, if anyone know of any room renting please to let me know by replying to this forum with information.

For many of these summer jobs the employer provides dormitory style housing for groups of workers.

What you are looking for is not a price for any private room/bath in Martha's Vineyard in the summer months.

Sorry there was a similar thread on this topic about a year ago I would search the US board to see if you can find it. There may be something useful there - but Ido remember that the tone wa discouraging for finding a non-shared lodging.

Who are you working for? You need to contact then to see if they can help - otherwise I think it is a tall order.

Two rates will apply: before Memorial Day and after Columbus Day.

In season, you would be very lucky to get a bed in a room -- not a private room -- in a four to six person rental for $250 per week. Very lucky.

Before and after, maybe less.
