Room for 5 people
 

Hi,
Does anyone know of any hotels which will allows 5 adults to stay in one room or have inter-connecting rooms ?

We'd ideally like a hotel on the strip.

You might try the same question again, but put the location in the title.

Why would you want 5 adults in one room ? 5 people, one bathroom ... a little cramped I'd say. Almost all hotels have connecting rooms, you do have to request them however. Why not think about a 2 room suite if you cannot get connecting rooms. I also believe most hotels on the Strip charge for additional people other then 2 to a room...but I rather doubt any would allow 5.

I frequently find hotels that will allow 5 adults in a double, with rollaway. I agree it would be crowded, but not everyone shares my financial position.

Hey Beach... you win the award for best post of the day ;)

Assuming the reason is money, rather than *ahem* anything else, the point that hotels do charge for any guests beyond the first 2, I've seen it actually cost as much to put 2 extra people (let alone 3) into a Vegas room as it would cost to just get another room.

If you can provide more info on what you want, I'm sure people can help:

* Is there a reason besides money you want this?
* When will you be there?
* What is your budget?
* What else is important to you in the hotel - what location, pools?, etc.

Consider staying in a 2 bedroom unit at the Residence Inn. If you have a car, there is a very new Residence Inn located just 3 minutes from Mandalay Bay, on the west side of I-15. I suggested this for a friend of mine and it worked out great. If I'm not mistaken, the unit had 2 bathrooms, and the kitchen allowed them the flexibility to have a few light meals in the room.

I think you would want to stay in a suite property with five people. I haven't stayed at any in Las Vegas, although I've heard Tuscany Suites off of Flamingo is nice. You could also check www.tripadvisor.com.

Opps sorry i should have added in the title that it is for Las Vegas.

The decision for five is because
1. after this holiday we're going to be all going our separate ways and may not be seeing each other for some time
2. money savings
3. we've booked two separate rooms before and just ended up spending most of our time in one room

We don't have a car so we want to be on the strip. Our best friend is getting married at the bellagio so we want to be near the bellagio

We were thinking of booking two roooms at the flamingo if there aren't hotels that can accomdate this request. Two rooms in Jun for 4 nights is about 957 dollars so the suite will have to be cheaper than this.

any ideas would be appreciated!!!

It is possible that after cramming 5 people in one room you may all be happy to go your separate ways!

Sure, booking 2 rooms means if you enjoy each others company you will spend a lot of time in one room - but anyone still has option to go to other room, take a shower, take a nap, get some space. It is one thing to party (or even just chat) in one room, another to deal with the snoring, bathroom hogging, etc issues of 4 other people.

We stayed at Treasure Island two years ago (2 adults/2 kids) and we had two adjoining rooms. It was cheaper than a suite, plus we had two bathrooms. At the time it was $69 per room, but extra people in a room (including kids) were $25 each per night, so really the extra room cost $19 per night! It was definitely worth it. It's a worthwhile question to ask no matter where you stay - how many is the room price good for and how much extra per person.

Vegas is the one place where cramming more people in a room will not save you any money.

Because they have so many conventions and conferences and so many people try and put more people in a room, housekeeping will know exactly how many will be in a room.

Also, hotels are notoriously strict about pool and elevator access and each guest must have a room key.

What about two rooms on priceline?

This is not specific to Vegas but 5 adults and 1 bathroom doesn't work for me. I would rather stay at a lesser hotel and get a couple rooms.
