Rooftop events or cruise 4 July DC
 

Hello!

We will be in DC for 4th July 2014 celebrations.

I am aware of the Mall fireworks, the concert, and Smithsonian Folk Festival, but I was wondering if there are any rooftop bar or cruise alternatives?

POV came up everywhere but from what I could see everything was dated 2013. Spirit Cruises also came up.

We are in our early 40s, no kids,and staying in Embassy Row. No car. I saw one rooftop bar,but it seemed to be aimed at 20 somethings.

You will not be able to get into the W hotel rooftop bar this year on the evening of July 4 unless you are staying in the hotel or are a member of the group that has rented out the rooftop club for that night. We live in Northern VA and are staying at the W over 4th of July weekend this year, and our decision to do so was based on the W's restriction regarding that.

There are two dinner cruise options for July 4th in D.C.
