Romantic weekend help needed

Jump to last reply

I am trying to plan a romantic anniversary extended weekend in Vermont at the end of July and need a bit of help in deciding where to base my stay. Some of the things we would like to do is go to Ben and Jerrys, Cabot Cheese factory, possibly Bennington pottery, see some great scenery (maybe smugglers notch?), vinyards, short easy hikes, not sure if there is any lake activities anywhere, quaint town and good resturants. We will be driving to Vermont from NJ so we will have a car and do not mind making day trips to get around. We dont have to do everything on that list, but like to have options.

Any recommendations for a great hotel/b&b that is romantic would be wonderful as well!! Thank you in advance!
