I agree with both Sante Fe. My husband and I stayed at a very nice B&B and we loved it. We also went in May and the weather was perfect. We only went for 5 days and I thought it was plenty. We did spend a day in Taos but not any time in Albuquerque. If you like good food, art galleries and museums, Sante Fe would be a good choice.

Santa Barbara at El Encanta, Montecito Inn, Big Sur, Inn at Little Washington (Virginia hunt country), Eastern shore of Maryland--at the Laura Ashley decorated inn (sorry, forgot name), Sedona, Orcas Islands, Santa Fe, Madrona Manor in Healdburg, CA (Sonoma wine country).
