romantic three nights leaving Phl

It is looking possible that I will have some time in early November for a three night getaway and I am exhibiting an egregious lack of imagination. Any ideas for a romantic mid week getaway? I am leaning toward preferring something warm, but any "neat" place that my husband and I could spend sometime outside strolling would be attractive. The usual stuff, romantic hotel, good food and low energy diversions. I had thought of Quebec City but apparently it will be really cold in November and not conducive to strolling. It can be anyplace with a nonstop from Phl. (burning miles). I just don't want to spend much time travelling. I did a search and saw recommendations in Florida, but we did that during the summer and it would be nice to do something different. I submit to the more imaginative mercies of Fodorites! You've never steered me wrong! Thanks very much for any ideas.

I always like to recommend Hilton Head Island, SC. If your miles can be used to Savannah, HHI is a very easy 45 minute rental car drive. The weather has been staying warm and between the HHI beaches and beautiful Savannah you can stroll to your hearts content. The $119 midweek rates at the Inn at Harbour Town may be the best values anywhere!

I am searching for similar ideas. My husband and i would like to go someplace from PHL for the Thanksgiving weekend. We are looking for a place with lots of sightseeing to do. thinking of burning miles, so a trip with no stop-overs would be ideal. Please help

Thanks Cheapbutnice, I will look at Savannah and Hilton head. I have never been there. November is still temperate there?
Tripaholic have you considered San Juan? It's a nonstop from Phl every day and it apparently has quite a lot to sightsee. It isn't what I am looking for this trip but I thought I would bring it up for you. The other one that I am thinking about is New Orleans, but I have to research it, I know next to nothing.
I would love other suggestions too!

Thanks, Wills - I will check San Juan out.

Have you thought of Aruba? US Airways has direct flights from PHL and Continental has from Newark, NJ.
