Romantic Overnight Stay w Good Restaurant
 
We live in Northern Westchester (NY). Looking for a romantic place to spend the night and have a great meal (either on premises or nearby) for our anniversary (either this weekend or next). Not more than a 2 hour drive (and not NYC) maybe some good antiquing or hiking nearby. Have done Old Drover's Inn and The Mayflower. Other suggestions?

How about Newport, RI? The Castle Hill Inn might be perfect for this occasion.

The Deerfield Inn in Deerfield Mass. Great food; I've never stayed overnight but friends have (for their anniversary) and loved it.

The Porches Inn in North Adams is wonderful, and dinner at Mezze in Williamstown would be nice too.
