romantic Charlotte hotel
I'm planning a two-night stay in Charlotte for a conference and since my husband is coming along I thought we might make it into a mini-vacation.

Can anyone recommend a hotel, preferably Uptown, that might be nice for a romantic getaway?

The closest thing I can think of is the Dunhill.

Add one more vote for the Dunhill! I spent a night there on business, but a friend honeymooned there. Be sure and enjoy a great meal at the restaurant - Monticello, I think.
