Rockford, Illinois

My son is going to be in a chess tournament in Rockford for a weekend. Any ideas of how I can entertain my 6-year old daughter there?

By doing anything that you would do at home. The difference is that you are unfortuantely doing it in Rockford. Rodkford will never be confused with any place fun or exciting.

There are 2 museums that are worth checking out, the Burpee Museum and the Discovery Center Museum. They would be appropriate for your 6 year old. The Discovery is definitely designed for younger children. PJ

If you are a Roman Catholic, the St. Mary's Shrine Church is considered one of the most beautiful in the MidWest.
