What is the age of your daughters? Are you interested in visiting Disney in Orlando - rather than or on top of Miami? Or are they older/adult daughters who would prefer south beach?

As for what to do/see in each place - that would take a book.

Suggest you start with the destinations section above for each city and then look at some reliable guide books.

Be aware that temps will range from hot to very hot at that time of year.

Sorry - it would also help to know if you have special interests?

There are tons of places very special to american history along that route but that might not be a major interest for you - versus art museums, fine dining, natural beauty, etc.

I'd add Philadelphia to Vic's list for US historic sites, food and museums. Try to get tickets to the Rodin and Barnes Collection for an excellent lesson in art history and appreciation.

I too would add Philadelphia but I would reduce St Augustine to a morning or afternoon.

Washington deserves more time than Charleston because almost everything is free.

I hope you are from a hot country because all these places are likely to be very warm (30C +) every day.

Interstate Highway 95 is s very boring highway. If you take US highway 17 for part of the trip, at least from Charleston to Savannah, you will find it interesting.

Thanks all for your reply.

My daughters age (11 & 7).

I'm interested to visit nature places, mountains, Beach ... etc, actually nothing specific, everything can be interested :)

For nature and chidren: consider going to the Florida Keys, Everglades National Park, Cumberland Island, Georgia; North Carolina - Outerbanks & Kitty Hawk (where the Wright Brothers first flew) or the Blue Ridge Mountains. Virginia Beach, Washington, DC - touring the White House (if you can get tickets) could be fun for the family, New Jersey shore (Long Beach Island) and then up to NYC -- all worthwhile destinations to consider.
