Road-Trips in California
 
I am a huge Road-Trip fan, and would like to know the spots that I could go around.

I have been to Mojave Desert, Utah, on CA-1 all the way to Seattle, 101 all the way to LA. Any good suggestions for road-trip/camping?

Lots of people like to go to Bishop. Idyllwild is another place I hear mentioned a lot.

Have you explored Hwy 49? This is a really interesting area. A nice drive is up Hwy 49, then Hwy 89 through the Sierra Valley and then onto Lake Tahoe.

Been here for so long, but I have not tried 49. I saw a documentary on 49 in television the other day. Looks to be good.

Is Bishop in Sierras? Can we get there thro 89?
