Road trip to the south
I have not explored much of the southern part of the US and I am thinking of taking a week off and exploring the south in the summer by car.
I would be leaving from Northern California. What is the time frame like if I wanted to drive to texas or albama or florida? I am thinking it would take 3 to 4 days to drive to those areas, right? Or am I wrong? If you have done car trips to the south coming from the west, what were your experiences like? |
I highly suggest you get an atlas of the US and start there.
Your question is like someone asking you if they can explore Southern California in an afternoon. |
Depending on where you go in Florida, it's about 4 days.

Thank you, tcapp. I had a hunch it would take about 3-4 days to get to florida/louisiana.
Thank you for your input! I am trying to get some road trip ideas squared away for the summer. |
San Francicso to New Orleans is over 2,300 miles. Pensacola is another 150 miles.
